  • Business Rules

    1. Booking and Reservations

      • All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by The Orchid Retreat.
      • A deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our cancellation policy.
      • Guests must provide accurate information when making a reservation. Any false information may result in cancellation of the booking.
    2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

      • Cancellations made within 02 days of the booking date may incur a cancellation fee.
      • Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy and may take up to 07 days.
      • No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early departures.
    3. Check-In and Check-Out

      • Check-in time is from 01 PM, and check-out time is by 11 AM.
      • Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability and may incur additional charges.
      • Guests must present valid identification at check-in.
    4. Guest Conduct

      • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, and property. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
      • Any damage caused by guests to the property will be charged accordingly.
      • We have designated quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM. During this time, guests are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing others.
      • Guests should be respectful of the shared spaces within the house and considerate of others who may be using these areas.
    5. Use of Facilities

      • All facilities are provided for the enjoyment of our guests. Guests are responsible for using the facilities safely and appropriately.
      • The homestay is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur due to misuse of facilities.
      • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. 
    6. Payment Terms

      • Payments can be made via [credit card, bank transfer, UPI, etc.]. Full payment is required before check-in unless otherwise arranged.
      • All rates are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
      • Additional services or amenities requested during the stay may incur extra charges, which must be settled before departure.
    7. Privacy and Data Protection

      • Guests’ personal information is collected for the purpose of processing reservations and providing services. We are committed to protecting your privacy as per our Privacy Policy.
      • We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to fulfill your booking.
    8. Liability

      • The Orchid Retreat is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
      • Guests are advised to secure their valuables and travel insurance is recommended.
      • Prior to check-out, it is advised to review your room and ensure you haven't left any personal belongings behind. The homestay assumes no responsibility for belongings left behind after departure.
      • In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), the homestay reserves the right to cancel bookings without liability.
    9. Amendments to Policies

      • The Orchid Retreat reserves the right to update or modify these business rules at any time without prior notice.
      • Guests are advised to review the business rules periodically to stay informed of any changes.
