Business Rules

1. Booking and Reservations

  • All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by The Orchid Retreat.
  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our cancellation policy.
  • Guests must provide accurate information when making a reservation. Any false information may result in cancellation of the booking.


2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made within 02 days of the booking date may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy and may take up to 07 days.
  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early departures.   


3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time is from 01 PM, and check-out time is by 11 AM.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Guests must present valid identification at check-in.


4. Guest Conduct

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, and property. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Any damage caused by guests to the property will be charged accordingly.
  • We have designated quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM. During this time, guests are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing others.
  • Guests should be respectful of the shared spaces within the house and considerate of others who may be using these areas.


5. Use of Facilities

  • All facilities are provided for the enjoyment of our guests. Guests are responsible for using the facilities safely and appropriately.
  • The homestay is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur due to misuse of facilities.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.


6. Payment Terms

  • Payments can be made via [credit card, bank transfer, UPI, etc.]. Full payment is required before check-in unless otherwise arranged.
  • All rates are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Additional services or amenities requested during the stay may incur extra charges, which must be settled before departure.


7. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Guests’ personal information is collected for the purpose of processing reservations and providing services. We are committed to protecting your privacy as per our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to fulfill your booking.


8. Liability

  • The Orchid Retreat is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
  • Guests are advised to secure their valuables and travel insurance is recommended.
  • Prior to check-out, it is advised to review your room and ensure you haven’t left any personal belongings behind. The homestay assumes no responsibility for belongings left behind after departure.
  • In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), the homestay reserves the right to cancel bookings without liability.

 

9. Amendments to Policies

  • The Orchid Retreat reserves the right to update or modify these business rules at any time without prior notice.
  • Guests are advised to review the business rules periodically to stay informed of any changes.

1. Respect for Others

  • Treat fellow guests, staff, and community members with courtesy and consideration at all times.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of threatening or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

2. Noise & Privacy

  • Maintain low noise levels, especially in common areas and during quiet hours (typically 09 PM – 7 AM).

  • Respect others’ privacy and personal space.

3. Safety & Security

  • Do not allow unauthorized visitors into rooms or premises without prior approval.

  • Follow all safety guidelines provided by the staff.

4. Cleanliness & Property Care

  • Keep your room and shared spaces clean and tidy.

  • Any damage to property caused by negligence or misconduct will be charged to the guest.

5. Alcohol, Smoking & Substances

  • Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

  • Consumption of alcohol and other substances must follow local laws and property rules. Disorderly behavior under influence is strictly prohibited.

6. Zero Tolerance for Violence or Abuse

  • Physical or verbal abuse towards staff or other guests will lead to immediate eviction and may be reported to authorities.

7. Compliance with Local Laws

  • All guests must follow applicable local laws and regulations during their stay.

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in warnings, fines, or immediate removal from the property without refund.
